HUA HIN — On July 18, 2025, Hua Hin Municipality held its annual school sports event “Takiab Games” at Ban Takiab Municipal School (Krailas Wittayathan), with the aim of promoting unity, sportsmanship, and healthy living among students and staff.
The event was officially opened by Mayor Nopporn Wutthikul, with the school director, Monkrit Maraphen, presenting the report. Attendees included Municipal Council Chair Cheep Suksri, council members, Education Department Director Pitchaya Boonluea, school directors under the municipality, school board members, teachers, and students.
The Takiab Games featured various student competitions, including cheerleading contests and sports matches, alongside faculty sports events. The initiative was designed to encourage physical activity, teamwork, and moral values such as fairness and forgiveness, while helping steer youth away from drug use.
