Hua Hin launches youth music contest with 300000 baht prize pool

HUA HIN — Local officials and event partners held a press conference on July 25 to announce the return of the “Hua Hin Music Contest 2025,” a youth band competition now in its second year.

Hua Hin Mayor Nopporn Wutthikul led the announcement at Market Village Hua Hin, joined by Jirawan Boonrit, Deputy Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Prachuap Khiri Khan Office); Kitipong Siriphetkasem, President of the Hua Hin/Cha-Am Tourism Business Association; and executives from Market Village, CT Music Co. Ltd., Yamaha Music School, and The Kaset Hua Hin.

The press event drew participation from deputy mayors, municipal councillors, local police, and district officers. It was held on the third floor of the Market Village shopping mall, the venue that will also host the upcoming competition.

Organized by Hua Hin Municipality in collaboration with Market Village Hua Hin, the contest invites amateur youth bands with members aged 12–18 to apply between now and August 25, 2025. The event offers a total prize pool of over 300,000 baht.
