Mr. Jiravat Phramanee, Deputy Mayor of Hua Hin Municipality, in his capacity as Acting Mayor, participated in a planning session held on the third floor of the Hua Hin District Office. The meeting aimed to finalize logistics and assign responsibilities to ensure the success of the Run Khan Do II event. The session was chaired by Mr. Montree Manichphong, Deputy District Chief of the Administrative Management Group.
The initiative, spearheaded by Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, is part of a broader effort to promote public health through regular physical activity. This year’s campaign, titled Run Khan Do II (or “Run Kan Du 2”), includes a total of nine events: eight district-level runs and one provincial-level event. The objectives are to encourage self-directed exercise, strengthen health-related community networks, and support local tourism.
The series is scheduled to run every Wednesday from May 14 to July 9, 2025, with events beginning at 5:00 PM. Hua Hin District will host its event on Wednesday, May 28, beginning at 4:00 PM at the Royal Park Rajapruek. The opening ceremony will be officiated by the Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan.
Representatives from local administrative organizations, government agencies, and village leadership were present during the meeting, where tasks were distributed among relevant departments to facilitate smooth coordination during the events.
