The second round of the “Run Khan Do #2” running series was held on 21 May 2025 at Laem Kum Beach in Thap Sakae District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The event is part of a nine-stage campaign aimed at encouraging physical activity, fostering community participation, and building local health networks.
The running series, which spans over approximately four months, includes eight district-level events and one province-wide finale. The initiative kicked off in Pran Buri District on 14 May and is scheduled to conclude in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan District on 9 July.
According to provincial officials, the program is designed to rotate across all eight districts before culminating in a provincial gathering. The events take place every Wednesday and are expected to draw participants from various sectors, including local residents, government staff, and visitors. Organizers hope the series will contribute to long-term improvements in public health awareness and inter-district cooperation.
Following the run in Thap Sakae, a symbolic flag handover ceremony was held, officially passing the host duties to Hua Hin District, which will organize the third stage of the event on 28 May 2025.
