The King and Queen of Thailand Attend the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla of Britain
Over the weekend, the King and Queen of Thailand graced the coronation ceremony of King Charles III and Queen Camilla of Britain at Westminster Abbey in London. The visit was made upon the formal invitation of King Charles III himself.
Among the prestigious guests in attendance were Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco, King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema of Bhutan, and Crown Prince Akishino and Crown Princess Kiko of Japan, along with other distinguished royalties and heads of state from various parts of the world.
Prior to the ceremony, a reception hosted by King Charles III was held at Buckingham Palace on Friday, May 5, which was also attended by the Thai monarchs.
Their Majesties stayed at the Landmark London Hotel during their visit to the United Kingdom. The Bureau of Royal Household made the announcement of the Thai royals’ presence at the ceremony.
