According to Mr. Anucha, Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha has shown great concern for the villagers and has directed the relevant authorities to offer assistance to the best of their abilities.

According to Mr. Anucha, the Prime Minister is most worried about the situation in the Thanmamoon and Khao Thapra subdistricts to the north of the Chao Phraya Dam, where water leaking from the collapsed levee has already begun to spread.

Maintenance has begun. Given the lack of precipitation and other sources of water during this time, Mr. Anucha predicted that things would return to normal.
