On June 17, 2022, around 10 am, after receiving a call for help, the staff of Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, together with veterinarians and Pantera Thailand staff, set out to Khung Tanot Beach to rescue the lost chamois.
Arriving at the scene found an adult male antelope, sluggish, with four legs stuck in the mud on the beach. Therefore, the veterinarian conducted an initial health assessment and found that the antelope was exhausted. It was injected with vitamins to help the body recover and then transported to the car and returned to the natural area of Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park.
Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park thanked the enthusiastic citizens who provided information to Pantera Thailand, as well as veterinarians and staff, for their support and help with chamois (One of Thailand’s 19 well-preserved wild animals, to keep them alive in hot weather and stay safe in the area). The chamois is fortunate to meet such a kind and sympathetic person this time.
