Rotaract District 3330 Hosts Leadership Training in Ratchaburi

Rotary International District 3330 held its annual Rotaract training event for club leaders over two days at Tai-Shan Suites Hotel in Ratchaburi province. The Presidents-Elect Learning Seminar (PELS) and District Training Assembly (DTA), which took place recently, gathered participants from across the 18 Rotaract clubs in the district, representing a total membership of 159.

The event served as a preparatory session for incoming Rotaract club presidents and officers, offering structured training on leadership roles and responsibilities ahead of Rotary Year 121. The sessions were overseen by District Governor Takrit, with support from Past District Governor Paikit and committee leaders including Dr. Danai, Assistant Governor Aree, and Past President Jimmy. Dr. Danai chaired the District Rotaract Committee for a second consecutive year, backed by a team of experienced Rotarians.

The Rotary club organizing the event sponsors two Rotaract clubs: Stamford International University, founded in 2016, and Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin – Wangklaikangwon Campus, which received its charter in 1999 and was taken under sponsorship in 2022. Rotarian Benjamas, the club’s Youth Service Director, plays a key role in guiding both clubs’ service initiatives and community outreach programs.

Rotaract clubs operate as service organizations for individuals aged 18 to 30, both within universities and in community-based settings. In Thailand, there are currently 58 Rotaract clubs with a combined membership of 665. Globally, Rotaract encompasses 131,119 members across 9,314 clubs.
