HUA HIN – On May 23, 2025, the Hua Hin City Municipality officially launched the municipal-level academic skills competition, aimed at identifying students to represent the city in the upcoming Central Region “Nakhon Non Academic 68” contest. The two-day event is being held at the Market Village Shopping Center, Hua Hin School, and Ban Hua Hin Municipal Demonstration School.
The competition, organized under the Local Education Management Fair Project by the Education Division of Hua Hin Municipality, brings together students across multiple educational levels to compete in a total of 33 academic activities. These include 7 activities at the early childhood level, 3 for primary levels 1–3, 15 for primary levels 4–6, and 8 for lower secondary levels.

The goal of the event is to foster academic excellence and to select top-performing students to move forward to the regional level. Events range from academic challenges to skill-based tasks designed to showcase student capabilities in various subjects.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Jirawat Phramanee, Permanent Secretary of the Municipality and Acting Mayor of Hua Hin City. Also present were Petty Officer 1st Class Likhit Noonin, Deputy Permanent Secretary Mrs. Nuengrutai Chansuk, local government officials, school administrators, teachers, and parents. The competition will conclude on May 24.
