The opening ceremony of the Executive Committee was presided over by Acting Lt. Gen. Teeraphat Rungratri, Governor of Lions International Region 310 D, on July 31. Last evening, the Lions Club Hua Hin 2022-2023 met at the anchor room of the Hua Hin Grand Hotel and Plaza in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province.
Mr. Polkrit Phuangvalaisin, Hua Hin Sheriff, and his wife were there, as was Mr. Nopporn Wuttikul, Mayor of Hua Hin City, and his delegation.
Provincial Lions Clubs and Members, as well as several important visitors, attended the inauguration ceremony.
Ms. Chermarn Uthaiwanwong, the new president of the Lions Hua Hin Club, along with the new management committee of the Lions Hua Hin Club, replaces Mr. Thanakrit Prahmaninil, who departed at the same time, for the management year 2022-2023.
Ms. Chermarn has made a 100,000 baht donation to the Lions Hua Hin Club. In addition, the Lions Hua Hin Club has given 8 scholarships of 1,000 baht each to students at Wang Klai Kangwon School and Hua Hin School.
Ready to provide financial support to Hua Hin, the Lions Club aim is to social service activities to aid persons with disabilities and diseases.
All Lions Clubs have the idea of working together in the public interest and assisting fellow human beings who are destitute or suffering misfortune without expecting personal benefits in return.
Lions Clubs serve as a coordinator or a conduit for those in need of general aid.
