A tanker truck veered off the southbound lane of the Hua Hin bypass early on the morning of July 21, 2025, resulting in minor injuries to the driver. The accident occurred at kilometer marker 33+100 in Thap Tai subdistrict, Hua Hin district, Prachuap Khiri Khan province.
According to a report from the Sawang Hua Hin Thammasathan Rescue Radio Center, the incident was logged at 5:52 AM. Emergency response units, including two ambulances from Sawang Hua Hin Thammasathan Rescue and highway patrol officers from Police Post T.08 (Thap Tai), were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, responders found a male driver with abrasions on his body and pain in his right ring finger. He was conscious and alert. First aid was administered at the scene by rescue volunteers. The injured party declined transportation to the hospital.
Authorities continue to monitor road conditions and remind drivers to exercise caution when traveling on this stretch of the bypass, especially during early morning hours.
