On June 12, renowned Mor Lam artist Noknoi Uraiporn sustained injuries in a car accident while traveling from a performance in Ubon Ratchathani, when her vehicle overturned on the Phu Khao Thong–Moei Wadi route. She is currently in stable condition under medical supervision.
According to a post on the official Siang Isan Noknoi Uraiporn Facebook page, the incident occurred shortly after Noknoi and her team had concluded a performance and were returning by car. The vehicle overturned, causing her to suffer a fractured collarbone and a laceration near her eyelid. Despite the impact, Noknoi remained conscious throughout and received prompt medical attention.
She has since been transferred to a hospital in Udon Thani for further treatment and observation. Doctors have confirmed that her overall condition is stable and not life-threatening.
An update from the same source expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support from fans and well-wishers, acknowledging the concern shown for the veteran singer.
