The Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin recently commemorated its 15th anniversary with a fellowship evening aimed at strengthening community bonds and supporting a charitable cause. Held in early April, the event brought together members and guests to reflect on the club’s service over the past decade and a half.
The gathering drew close to 100 participants, including representatives from 11 Rotary clubs across Thailand. The evening also featured a fundraising initiative, which raised 150,000 Thai Baht in support of earthquake relief efforts in Myanmar. The funds are being channeled through Rotary Thailand, which is coordinating assistance for those affected by the disaster.
A notable contribution came from the Switzerland-based help4people foundation, which played a key role in helping the event meet its charitable goals.
The event was hosted at the Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin, with attendees noting the attentive service provided by the venue’s staff. Rotary members from clubs including RC Bangkok, RC Hua Hin, RC Phuket South, and others joined the celebration. Several past, current, and incoming district governors were also present.
