Run Khan Do Season 2 Kicks Off 14 May

Provincial authorities in Prachuap Khiri Khan held a meeting on 11 April 2025 to finalize plans for the second season of the Run Khan Do event, set to begin on 14 May in Pran Buri District. The weekly running series aims to promote health and community engagement across the province.

The meeting took place at 10:00 a.m. in the Glass Room on the second floor of the Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Hall. The agenda focused on outlining the structure and schedule of the upcoming Run Khan Do Season 2, a running event designed to encourage physical activity and local participation.

This year’s event will consist of nine races, each covering a distance of 5 kilometers. Races will take place every Wednesday across various districts, with eight district-level events and one final provincial-level event. The first race will be held in Pran Buri District on 14 May 2025. Subsequent races are scheduled as follows: Thap Sakae on 21 May, Hua Hin on 28 May, Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan on 4 June, Sam Roi Yot on 11 June, Bang Saphan on 18 June, Kui Buri on 25 June, and Bang Saphan Noi on 2 July. The provincial-level race will conclude the series in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan on 9 July.

Details regarding race venues will be announced once finalized. Organizers have also opened pre-orders for official event shirts. Round-neck shirts are priced at 150 baht, while collared versions cost 249 baht. Orders can be placed via the Run Khan Do Facebook page or through the official Line account at https://line.me/R/ti/p/@529ohygi. Shirts can be picked up at the Provincial Office of Tourism and Sports, located opposite the provincial stadium, or at any of the eight district offices.

The meeting was chaired by Preeda Sukjai, Deputy Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan. Participants included representatives from provincial administrative offices, the Tourism and Sports Office, the Public Health Office, the Provincial Cultural Office, the Government Public Relations Department, and several local municipalities.
