Nahu Kwang to Host Street Art Festival Aimed at Boosting Local Tourism

On April 10, 2025, local authorities in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province announced plans for the upcoming “Nahu Kwang Street Art 2025” festival, set to take place on April 14–15. The event is designed to promote tourism and establish a new check-in spot in Thap Sakae District.

The initiative, led by the Nahu Kwang Subdistrict Administrative Organization, will feature a coastal art installation using recycled waste materials. Organizers aim to blend artistic expression with environmental awareness while contributing to the local economy. One of the festival’s highlights will be what is expected to be the largest street art mural ever created in the province.

The event will be held at Laem Kum Beach in Village 7, Nahu Kwang Subdistrict. Officials hope the project will inspire both residents and visitors to value sustainable tourism practices and recognize the role of art in community development.

The press conference included remarks from Preeda Sukjai, Deputy Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan, along with Thap Sakae District Chief Sittiporn Konghom, Nahu Kwang Subdistrict Mayor Chao Iamsukka, District Council Member Lueyos Phuthong, and Russian volunteers who have participated in the environmental art initiative.
