On April 10, 2025, police in Cha-am apprehended a 44-year-old man suspected of multiple thefts, including a reported burglary earlier this month. The arrest took place near the Chian Tung pawnshop along the northbound side of Phetkasem Road in Cha-am district, Phetchaburi province.

Authorities identified the suspect as Wisit, also known as “Auan,” a resident of Moo 3 in Nai Yang subdistrict, Cha-am. His arrest followed an investigation linked to a theft reported on April 5, in which a grass trimmer was stolen from a wooden residence named “Sakthong House,” located near Phetkasem Road in Don Khun Huai subdistrict.

The man was taken into custody by Cha-am Police Station’s investigation team. Legal proceedings are being carried out as the suspect is transferred to investigators for further action under Thai law.
Officers involved in the arrest included Pol. Col. Apirak Permchai, superintendent of Cha-am Police Station, along with Pol. Lt. Col. Teerapong Raksawiang, deputy superintendent for investigations; Pol. Lt. Col. Atichat Phothia, investigation officer; and Pol. Sub. Lt.
