The inspection team, led by Director Thanisorn Tujinda and Senior Budget Analyst Nattanun Choengkon, visited the proposed site at the Pranburi Dam. The project, included in the 2026 fiscal year plan, involves the construction of a 7-by-14-metre floating pumping station and the installation of pumping equipment to transfer raw water from the dam to the Hua Hin Municipality’s waterworks facilities.
The initiative aims to enhance the volume of raw water available for public consumption, ensuring supply meets growing demand. The local municipality has submitted a budget request of 56.6 million baht to the national budget office and plans to contribute an additional 19.4 million baht from municipal funds, bringing the total proposed budget to 76 million baht.

The visit was also attended by municipal representatives including Deputy Permanent Secretary Likhit Nunin, Director of Waterworks Pantip Petchthanawat, and Maintenance Head Noppadol Meephrawat. The officials jointly reviewed the project’s scope, potential challenges, and required resources to ensure an efficient and cost-effective implementation.
The Pranburi inspection is part of Region 14’s broader mandate to manage and monitor annual budget proposals for provinces and local government bodies in the Lower Central Region 2. This includes continuous evaluation of project readiness, budgeting accuracy, and potential community impact.

By collecting field data and identifying potential obstacles, the budget office aims to improve the effectiveness of budget allocation and ensure public resources deliver maximum benefit to the population.
