On Wednesday 1 April, the Hua Hin International Jazz Festival 2025 Committee held a press conference at the Amara Resort on Soi 94 to announce their plans and vision for the upcoming Jazz Festival. They stated that this year’s festival is set to be the most ambitious edition in its history, expanding from a single-day beachfront event, to a four-day city-wide festival with performances across seven unique venues. The festival, which has long been a highlight of Thailand and Hua Hin’s cultural calendar, will shine a spotlight exclusively on Thai jazz artists, celebrating the nation’s extraordinary musical talent.
Set to take place from Thursday, May 1 to Sunday, May 4, 2025, the event promises an immersive jazz experience, featuring live performances in diverse settings, from intimate jazz lounges to large outdoor stages. Supported by Cannagi, Preema, and MIMO Events, the expanded format marks a new chapter for the festival, positioning it as a premier jazz event in Southeast Asia. Organizers are actively seeking sponsors and partners to help elevate the festival and provide world-class entertainment for jazz, lovers in Thailand and beyond.
In attendance there were many dignitaries and local icons like Ped Bluesman, Stefan, Khun Noi [propitiator of Amara resort], TAT Rep “Niti”, Kittiporng, Myanmar’s Miss Universe “Tess” and star of the HBO Max Series ‘White Lotus’, Hua Hin’s very own Khun Lek Pratravadi. Everyone was thoroughly entertained by a lovely performance by local jazz musicians, Mink Snow, Yo and Arjarn.
Festival Director Mrs. Sanisa “Neeva” Sriarj stated, “Jazz has deep roots in Thai musical heritage, and Hua Hin itself has a long-standing reputation as a cultural hub. This festival isn’t just about the music – it’s about community, connection, and celebrating a shared passion for the arts. By expanding the festival across multiple venues, we are ensuring that more people can engage with this incredible genre, whether they’re longtime jazz lovers or discovering it for the first time.“
General Secretary John C. Murphy added, “We are rebooting the Hua Hin International Jazz Festival to new heights this year. By extending the festival over four days and integrating multiple venues, we aim to create an unforgettable jazz experience that resonates with both local and international audiences. The focus on Thai artists reinforces our commitment to supporting homegrown talent and promoting Thai jazz on the global stage.“
With a significant expansion in scale, organizers are calling on brands, businesses, and cultural organizations to be part of this exciting journey. The festival offers tailored sponsorship packages designed to maximize brand exposure while supporting Thailand’s jazz scene.
The organizers are calling on the media, sponsors, partners, vendors, jazz enthusiasts and the community to take part in this Celebration of Jazz in Hua Hin and help spread the word and be part of this historic music event blending world-class music with the charm of Hua Hin’s scenic venues.
