The 40th National Youth Games, known as “Chalam Yaowachon Games,” officially commenced on March 23, 2025, at Chonburi Stadium in Chonburi province. The event brings together young athletes from all 77 provinces of Thailand, aiming to enhance sports development and competition standards nationwide.

Held from March 23 to April 3, 2025, the tournament focuses on fostering athletic talent, improving sports management, and ensuring high-quality competition. It serves as a platform for young athletes to gain experience and prepare for national and international sporting events.

The opening ceremony was attended by several officials, including Preeda Sookjai, Deputy Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan, and Suwalee Buakaew, Director of the Sports Authority of Thailand’s Prachuap Khiri Khan Office. Minister of Tourism and Sports, Suwong Thienthong, presided over the event.
