In an effort to mitigate conflicts between humans and wild elephants, authorities have implemented a surveillance system using motion-triggered cameras in high-risk areas. These cameras detect elephant movements and send real-time alerts to monitoring centers, allowing officials to respond swiftly by guiding elephants back into the forest and away from farmland.

This technology-driven approach not only helps prevent damage to crops but also reduces direct confrontations between humans and elephants. Conservationists emphasize that such initiatives are crucial for fostering long-term coexistence between people and wildlife.
The project has been deployed in Kui Buri National Park and the Kaeng Krachan Forest Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with the participation of park officials and conservation groups.
