Ob-Oon Patisserie & Boulangerie, in collaboration with Artist Village Hua Hin and Charoendee Chocolate, presents The Beauty of Contrast, an exhibition celebrating the harmony of differences through contemporary art. The event runs from March 17 to May 31, 2025, at Ob-Oon, Putahracsa Hua Hin Resort, offering visitors a chance to experience unique artistic expressions and acquire exclusive pieces.
The exhibition features works by two members of Artist Village Hua Hin—Supasuta Kesa-ngam and Worapon Moolbanjong. Each artist brings a distinct approach to capturing the essence of Thai culture and nature.
Supasuta’s The Light of Hua Hin presents a semi-abstract interpretation of the coastal town, using soft tones to depict the interplay of wind, sunlight, and waves. Her work emphasizes emotion and memory over realism, evoking the vibrant yet serene atmosphere of the seaside.
Meanwhile, Worapon explores the strength and grace of Thai elephants through modern and contemporary styles. His compositions balance bold color contrasts and structured forms, symbolizing both power and warmth in a contemporary aesthetic.
Together, the artworks reflect the contrast between fluidity and stability, delicacy and strength—elements that, when combined, create a compelling visual harmony. The exhibition aims to highlight the beauty found in opposing forces, much like contemporary art itself.
