Authorities in Cha-am have launched a strategic initiative to address drug-related issues in Nayong subdistrict. On March 12, local officials signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) as part of the “Sustainable Subdistrict Project,” aiming for a comprehensive, long-term solution under the national strategy.

The project will focus on villages 2 and 3 of Nayong subdistrict, where drug-related problems persist. A task force will operate in the area from March 10 to August 10, implementing measures to strengthen the community, raise awareness, and support rehabilitation efforts. Local participation will be key to ensuring sustainable prevention and intervention.
The signing ceremony, held at the Nayong village hall in Phetchaburi province, was attended by local government officials, law enforcement representatives, health professionals, and community leaders.
