Prachuap Khiri Khan’s provincial governor has launched a mobile outreach program aimed at addressing local concerns and improving community welfare. The initiative, part of the “Relief and Happiness Unit” project, was introduced on March 12, 2025, at Seeda Ngam Village Hall in Ang Thong Subdistrict, Thap Sakae District. The program outlines ten urgent priorities to alleviate hardships faced by residents.
During the event, the governor emphasized solutions to pressing local issues, including waste management and environmental cleanliness. Relevant agencies, such as the provincial disaster prevention office and local administrative organizations, have been mobilized to implement waste disposal measures, clear drainage systems, and improve sanitation in the area. Additionally, the provincial Red Cross encouraged blood donations to support patients in need.

As part of the initiative, the governor unveiled the “Next Move Prachuap” agenda, which includes ten key action points and strategies for advancing the province’s development. A significant focus was placed on promoting a “Wellness Economy,” with eight core strategies aimed at enhancing public health, economic sustainability, and quality of life.
The event also featured various community services to ease bureaucratic burdens, including booths offering government assistance. Residents received freshwater fish stocks and parasitoid insects for agricultural pest control. Furthermore, 300 sets of essential goods, donated by local religious and charitable organizations, were distributed to the community.

Before the main event, the governor visited Ban Seeda Ngam School to provide sports equipment and discuss educational development. He highlighted the importance of subjects such as mathematics, astronomy, technology, and artificial intelligence, which play a growing role in modern careers. Local students shared their aspirations, with some expressing interest in becoming judges and professionals in other fields. The governor also visited two households with disabled residents to provide additional aid.
Ang Thong Subdistrict, covering 104 square kilometers, faces several key challenges, including drought, coastal erosion, and agricultural pests affecting coconut plantations. The area is home to various agricultural and fishing communities, as well as notable tourist sites such as Ang Thong Temple, Wang Yang Temple, and the secluded Thap Sakae Beach.
Senior provincial officials, local government representatives, and community leaders were also present at the event.
