On February 12 at 3:00 PM, Hua Hin’s new district chief, Phonlakrit Phuangwalaisin, and his wife, Usa Phuangwalaisin, arrived at the official residence in Prachuap Khiri Khan province. Their reception included a traditional ceremony, where nine incense sticks were lit, followed by an invocation for auspiciousness as he assumed his new role.
Following the ceremony, Deputy President of the Hua Hin Red Cross, Lisa Uengheng, presented bouquets of roses to the new district chief and the newly appointed president of the local Red Cross.
Phonlakrit, who previously served as the district chief of Chom Bueng in Ratchaburi province, expressed his enthusiasm for the new role. He acknowledged the strong reputation and dedication of the Hua Hin Red Cross and encouraged collaboration to further improve local initiatives.
The event was attended by senior police officials and Red Cross representatives, including Hua Hin Police Superintendent Pol. Col. Hongphrom Wisitchanachai, who led the welcoming committee.
