Officials in Prachuap Khiri Khan have held a meeting to prepare for upcoming gastronomy tourism promotion events as part of the province’s 2025 tourism, goods, and services promotion project. The plan includes two events at key locations within the province.

The meeting took place on February 27, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Koh Lak Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Prachuap Khiri Khan City Hall. Attendees reviewed event details and confirmed that the first event will be held at Khao Kalok in Pran Buri District, followed by another at Ban Krut in Bang Saphan District. The event will go beyond food exhibitions and sales by incorporating narratives on local culinary heritage, traditions, and the creative use of key provincial ingredients such as pineapple, coconut, and mango.

The event will feature booths selling local delicacies, seafood, GI-certified products, and processed foods, alongside live music performances, cooking demonstrations by renowned chefs, and other special activities. The meeting also approved the establishment of a working committee to oversee event planning, promotion, and public outreach. Provincial officials and tourism representatives were present at the discussion.
