On February 19, 2025, Ban Nong Yao School in Cha-am, Phetchaburi, hosted its annual academic open house, an event aimed at promoting student learning and engagement in line with the Ministry of Education’s policy of ensuring students excel academically while enjoying their education.
The event featured a variety of competitions and activities, including early childhood science projects, traditional Thai etiquette demonstrations, luk thung singing contests, spelling bees, and handwriting competitions for teachers. Participants from 24 schools under the Phetchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 took part, with an estimated 500 attendees consisting of students, parents, and educators. As part of the event, certificates of appreciation were awarded to individuals and organizations that have supported educational development in the region.

Speaking at the event, Songsak Kwanprachcha, Director of the Phetchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, emphasized that the open house reflected the effectiveness of educational management and provided a platform for students to showcase their skills and knowledge. He reiterated the importance of hands-on learning experiences and noted that such activities not only benefit students but also strengthen the school’s connection with the community and build trust among parents.
Other officials, including school directors, educational administrators, and local committee members, were also in attendance to support the event.
