Municipal officials in Hua Hin convened on February 18, 2025, to assess progress on two major road improvement projects aimed at enhancing traffic flow and infrastructure. The meeting, held at the Hua Hin Municipality Office, focused on the resurfacing of roads with asphaltic concrete overlay and upgrading drainage systems.
The projects under review include the resurfacing of the road along Wat Khao Lan Thom, connecting to Soi Takiab 8, along with the installation of V-shaped reinforced concrete drainage channels, traffic lane markings, and road signs. Additionally, the improvement of the Nong Kae–Takiab road was discussed, which involves resurfacing, upgrading maintenance hole covers, and adding traffic markings.

To minimize disruptions, authorities have requested that construction work avoid peak hours between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, allowing smoother travel for commuters and school transportation.
The meeting was attended by municipal officials, project supervisors, and contractors, who were instructed to ensure compliance with the approved project plans.
