On January 20, 2025, Mr. Jiravat Phramanee, Permanent Secretary of Hua Hin Municipality, led a meeting to review the progress and approve the second installment of the Lan Khon Muang renovation project on Damnoen Kasem Road near Phon Kingphet Public Park.
In this phase, the construction company completed the demolition of several existing structures, including trees, the original stage building, the concrete floor and its supporting structure, staircases, and the original retaining wall. These preparatory steps pave the way for the next stage of the development.
The upcoming construction will introduce a modern performance stage building featuring an activity stage, restrooms for men, women, and people with disabilities, as well as dressing rooms equipped with restroom facilities. Additional infrastructure includes a one-story generator and electrical control room with fully integrated electrical systems, outdoor lighting, high-voltage electrical setups, and comprehensive indoor and outdoor sanitation systems.
The meeting also addressed financial considerations to ensure the project stays on track for its expected completion in July 2025. Officials and representatives involved in the project reviewed the timeline and construction standards to align with the municipality’s vision for the renovated space.
