Hua Hin Bluesfest 2025 is all booked and ready to roll. This year’s Bluesfest will be held on Saturday 18 January at SiraPura Beach Club Resort in Khao Takiab. With MC’s Claude Athaseri (aka P’Moo) and Sandy Beach, the festival line-up features 9 blues bands with the headliner being Thailand’s very own legendary singer, songwriter, actor and guitarist, Hugo who has been highly influenced by blues musicians such as Howling Wolf, Son House, Robert Johnson and Skip James.
Also appearing at the top of the bill is American guitarist and blues icon Bobby Messano, who has played with many international blues and blues rock legends thoughout his illustrious career. Bobby has received the 2024 World Entertainment Award-Best Americana Album, 2024 Unsigned Song Competition 1st Place Winner in BLUES.as well as the 2017 Hollywood Music In Media Award Winner-Best Blues Album, 2015 #1 Billboard Blues Artist, 2015 Blues Blast Award Nominee and a 2012 Blues Hall of Fame Inductee.
Returning to the Bluesfest Hua Hin stage are Blues and R&B stalwart performers Keith Nolan and The Cotton Mouth Kings, plus Hua Hin’s very own “Blues Jewell” Ped Bluesman and Friends band. Also performing, and new to Bluesfest this year, is Bangkok’s workhorse blues band, Lil Moss & the Bonetones featuring Jass and a band making their debut at Bluesfest Hua Hin is Sandy Beach & Sea Level Blues.
Traveling down from Chiang Mai to hit the Bluesfest stage are The Legendary Taco Bells. Two more Hua Hin Bluesfest mainstays, White Canyon Blues featuring Bank on guitar and The 491 Blues Band round out the line-up. This year’s Bluesfest promises to be a tremendous event hosted by SiraPura Beach Club Resort and will also feature food and beverage stalls from local Hua Hin street food vendors.
