Hua Hin is set to transform into a vibrant hub of entertainment and tourism with the “Amazing Thailand Hua Hin Countdown 2025,” a weeklong celebration from December 26, 2024, to January 1, 2025. Among the highlights, K-pop star Kim Yugyeom will headline the city’s first-ever countdown concert on Hua Hin Beach, cementing its reputation as a lifestyle and tourism destination in Thailand.
Organized by Proud Group, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand and major sponsors like Toyota Motor Thailand, Suntory PepsiCo, and Chang International, the festival spans multiple locations across Hua Hin. The event promises a mix of music, culture, and activities designed to attract tourists and locals alike, with a focus on young travelers.
Key venues include Bluport Hua Hin Shopping Mall, which will host the “Amazing Celebration 2025: A New Chapter of the Journey.” This event marks the mall’s 9th anniversary and features an Illumination Mapping show, live performances from Thai artists Lipta, Earth Patravee, and J Jetrin, and celebratory activities. Visitors can also partake in a New Year’s merit-making ceremony with 99 monks from December 24 to January 1.
Rock enthusiasts can look forward to “Rock Countdown 2025” at Vana Nava Water Jungle on December 28, where iconic Thai bands Bodyslam, Zeal, and The Mousses will perform on a floating stage. Concert tickets are available for 699 baht, which includes a complimentary drink. For a more exclusive experience, the Vana Nava Sky Bar at Holiday Inn offers panoramic views, fireworks, and DJ performances to ring in the New Year.
The beach in front of InterContinental Hua Hin Resort will serve as a focal point on December 31, with performances by Yugyeom and T-Pop group PERSES, along with DJ PU. Visitors can witness a spectacular fireworks display featuring over 3,000 fireworks lighting up the sky for more than 10 minutes, creating an unforgettable finale to the year.
Additionally, Phuket residents can join a parallel celebration at Kamala Beach, hosted by InterContinental Phuket Resort. This free event offers stunning fireworks, art installations, and a family-friendly atmosphere.
