HUA HIN — On December 4, 2024, Ban Samo Prong Municipality School marked Father’s Day, National Day, and the birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great with a series of activities celebrating his legacy. The event was presided over by Ms. Busaba Choksuchat, Deputy Mayor of Hua Hin Municipality, and attended by school officials, teachers, students, and community leaders.
The ceremony included offerings of dry food and rice to monks, followed by a royal homage in front of His Majesty’s portrait to honor his contributions to the nation. Students and teachers reflected on King Bhumibol’s enduring kindness and dedication to Thailand.
In recognition of December 5, which also marks “World Soil Day,” students participated in planting tamarind trees on the school grounds. The initiative aims to create a living learning center, fostering environmental stewardship and honoring the King’s lifelong commitment to sustainable development.
