HUA HIN, Thailand — The 10th annual “Walk, Run, and Ride to Prevent Stroke” campaign will continue its southern event on October 26, 2024, at Khlong Chong Lom Reservoir in Thap Sakae District, Prachuap Khiri Khan. This initiative, which promotes stroke prevention through active participation, consists of three regional events and complementary exhibitions.
The campaign kicked off in the northern zone on October 19, 2024, at the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center in Sam Roi Yot District. The southern zone will follow with the next event at Thap Sakae’s scenic reservoir, aiming to engage participants through physical activities to encourage a healthier lifestyle. The final event will take place on November 2, 2024, at the King Rama IX Park in Prachuap Khiri Khan’s main city district, rounding out the program.
Throughout the campaign period, from October 19 to November 2, local health promotion hospitals across the province will host exhibitions on stroke awareness. Visitors can learn about stroke prevention strategies and download relevant materials through QR codes provided at the venues.
Organizers encourage the public to join the activities and take advantage of the educational resources, emphasizing the importance of early awareness and prevention in combating stroke.
