On October 6, 2024, Bluport Hua Hin Shopping Mall in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province hosted a vibrant welcome event for the Mister Global 2024 contestants, attracting over 40 handsome men from around the world. The event was organized in collaboration with The Collections, which includes a museum of classic cars, paintings, and art, and featured an impressive display of classic vehicles in Bluport Hall. Among these, the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II captured the spotlight, drawing considerable attention as contestants posed for photos alongside this iconic car.
The atmosphere in Bluport Hall was charged with excitement as the participants showcased their poise and talents, competing not only for their looks but also for their abilities. This venue, the largest indoor meeting space in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, spans more than 3,000 square meters, providing a comfortable and spacious setting for the event.
The Mister Global competition, owned by TPN Global Company Limited, is recognized as a premier gentleman’s modeling competition. Established in 2014, it has garnered international acclaim and is often referred to as a grand slam event in the pageant world. This year’s theme, “Gentlemen with Essence,” aims to highlight the qualities that define a true gentleman. With Thailand serving as the host country, the competition has seen participation from representatives of over 40 countries. The training camp for contestants took place from September 24 to October 6, 2024.
Ms. Wachi Klomkliang, Executive Director of Hua Hin Asset Co., Ltd., emphasized the significance of Hua Hin as a well-known resort destination in Thailand. She noted that hosting the Mister Global 2024 pageant offers a unique opportunity to promote both tourism and the rich culture of Thailand. The event serves to bolster the country’s image and tourism potential, positioning Hua Hin as a key destination for international visitors. Ms. Klomkliang expressed her pleasure and honor in welcoming the contestants, stating that the activities organized by Bluport would leave a lasting impression on the participants.
Furthermore, she announced that the classic cars showcased during the event are part of an upcoming exhibition at THE COLLECTIONS, a museum of classic cars, paintings, and art, set to open in November 2024. This museum will feature more than 40 rare classic cars and over 100 pieces of artwork from both domestic and international artists, all housed in an exhibition space of 1,925 square meters. The museum aims to offer a rotating selection of exhibitions designed to engage and excite visitors in the future.
