Rare Jade Blue Fiddler Crabs Found at Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park

Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park officials have recently discovered rare Jade Blue Fiddler Crabs in the mangrove forest near Khao Daeng Canal. These crabs, which are difficult to spot, were photographed to share their beauty with the public.

The crabs, identified as Jade Blue Fiddler Crabs, exhibit a unique turquoise color. They are considered one of the rarest species, with an estimated size of about 6-8 millimeters, comparable to a watermelon seed. During the discovery, four crabs were found in the mangrove area near the Khao Daeng boat landing.

The photograph of these elusive crabs was taken with a Fujifilm X-H2s using a 150-600mm f5.6-8 R LM OIS WR lens, capturing their stunning details.

Officials encourage the public to visit and appreciate the natural beauty and biodiversity of the Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park.
