Municipality Task Force Cleans Abandoned Building Area

On June 6, 2024, a task force comprised of Sergeant Likhit Noonin, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Municipality, alongside Ms. Rujapa La-ongjit, Head of the Social Work Department, and officials from the Public Health and Environment Division of Hua Hin Municipality, undertook an inspection in the vicinity of Phetkasem Road. The focus of their endeavor was to address concerns regarding homeless individuals residing in abandoned buildings in the area.

Prompted by reports of two homeless persons taking refuge clandestinely in one such abandoned building along Phetkasem Road, the team embarked on their mission to investigate. Upon arrival, they encountered a homeless individual who had arranged personal belongings, clothing, and even plants along the pedestrian area adjacent to the abandoned structure and its surrounding alleyways, presenting an unsightly and unhygienic environment. Subsequently, the individual was notified to vacate the premises, and the officials from the Public Health and Environment Division promptly initiated cleaning measures to restore tidiness to the area.

This collaborative effort underscores the Municipality’s commitment to addressing social welfare concerns and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of public spaces within Hua Hin.
