Bluport Hua Hin Shopping Center supported the largest marathon of the year, the Hua Hin Marathon 2024, which was held on May 12 at Khao Krailas Temple in Hua Hin District, Prachuap Province. This event, now in its fourth consecutive year, featured a royal trophy awarded by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The marathon aimed to raise funds for environmental protection activities in Hua Hin Municipality and the development of an 18-rai mangrove ecosystem project at Khao Krailas Temple. This project is intended to serve as an educational site for studying the complete ecosystem, promoting health tourism, and stimulating the local economy by attracting tourists.

The Hua Hin Marathon 2024 offered four race categories: the full Marathon (42.195 km), which included the Royal Cup for the top male and female runners; a Half Marathon (21 km); a Mini Marathon (10.5 km); and a Fun Run (5 km). The race route started at Khao Krailas Temple and traversed the scenic city of Hua Hin, including its iconic beach. Over 3,500 participants from both Thailand and abroad joined the event.

Bluport Hua Hin set up various service points to support the runners. These included refreshment stations offering desserts from the renowned Hua Hin Taste zone, featuring local delicacies, and fruit juice from Chaba to keep the participants hydrated and energized. Additionally, Bluport arranged for clean and comfortable bathroom facilities at two large spots on the G floor.

In recognition of the runners’ achievements, Bluport Hua Hin also provided special awards in the form of cash coupons totaling over 5,000 baht for the winners of the different race categories. The event generated a positive economic impact for Hua Hin by attracting tourists and promoting health and wellness tourism in the region.

Among the notable attendees were local officials and community leaders, who came together to support this significant event. Their presence underscored the community’s commitment to environmental conservation and the promotion of Hua Hin as a premier tourist destination.
