In a significant event held at Room 100, International Continental Hotel Hua Hin, the municipality of Hua Hin, in collaboration with the Hua Hin – Cha-am Tourism Business Association, the Tourism Industry Association of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, and other notable stakeholders, ceremoniously presented the emblem and certificates for being recognized as one of the “Top 100 Sustainable Destinations in the World” by the 2023 Green Destinations Top 100 Stories.
The distinguished guests, including Mr. Attapol Chaisri, the Director of the Eastern Region Tourism Authority of Thailand, and Ms. Watsana Srikanjan, the President of the Hua Hin – Cha-am Tourism Business Association, were in attendance. The chief guest for the event was Mr. Ornapon Wanakij, the Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Eastern Region.
The ceremony was marked by an insightful panel discussion, with Lieutenant Colonel Adisak Noisuwannarak, representing the Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, and Dr. Surasak Thanomsee, the Director of the Central Region Promotion and Exhibition Section, Office of the Eastern Region Promotion and Exhibition (Public Organization), among the prominent speakers.
The gathering also saw the active participation of Mr. Chuwit Srisawas, the Chairman of the Tourism Industry Association of Thailand, who contributed to discussions on topics such as “Hua Hin, the Riviera Megacity,” and “Driving Hua Hin and Pranburi as Special Sustainable Tourism Areas.” The event drew a large audience, including dignitaries and members of the public.
The primary objective of the occasion was to promote Hua Hin and Prachuap Khiri Khan Province to the global tourism industry.
