He revealed that among the victims currently undergoing treatment at the hospital, three individuals had sustained severe injuries. Notably, one of the injured is a foreign tourist whose condition has stabilized.
Adding to the complexity of the situation, two tourists who were traveling with a friend injured in the incident found themselves separated and unable to locate their injured companion. Fortunately, the Tourism Authority of Thailand swiftly intervened, providing interpretation services. The Ministry of Tourism and Sports, in collaboration with the Royal Thai Police, successfully reunited the separated tourists with their friend.
Furthermore, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin ensured that the Chinese Ambassador was kept informed about the situation. The Chinese Ambassador expressed gratitude for the Thai government’s attentive approach and extended appreciation for the benevolent patronage of Their Majesties the King and Queen.

Regarding inquiries about special directives issued to the Royal Thai Police chief and the hospital, the Prime Minister clarified that no specific instructions were required, as all parties were well aware of their respective responsibilities. He commended the hospital for its exemplary care provided to the victims.
In a recent update, it has been confirmed that the missing tourists have been located and are now safe. The Prime Minister has been promptly informed of this positive development. Additionally, Malaysia has expressed concern due to the presence of Malaysian Royalty in Thailand. In response, the Prime Minister assured the Malaysian authorities of the current stability and security of the situation.
