On September 28, 2023, a delegation led by Mr. Nopporn Wutthikul, the Mayor of Hua Hin City, along with Mr. Atichat Chaisri, Deputy Mayor, Mr. Thongchai Phetsongkram, Vice President of the Municipal Council, Ms. Nonglak Phadungthots, Municipal Council Member, Mr. Jeerawat Pramanee, Permanent Secretary of the Municipality, Mr. Klolayut Kuyukham, Director of the Engineering Bureau, and Mr. Anucha Thepsoda, Head of the Civil Engineering Department, visited Soi Yaem with a purpose to oversee the cleanliness and construction activities in the area.
The focus of their inspection was the ongoing construction of reinforced concrete roads in Soi Yaem Sa-at. This extensive project encompasses a three-phase construction plan aimed at expanding the reinforced concrete road surface, installing V-rails, manholes, and laying new water pipes. The intended expansion of the road is approximately 7.80 meters wide, extending over a total length of about 536 meters. The projected completion for this undertaking is set for February 2024. During the visit, concerns and feedback from stakeholders and project contractors regarding obstacles and corrective measures were duly noted.

Subsequently, the delegation proceeded to the adjacent area to address concerns about tree roots penetrating and causing damage to the road surface structures in Soi Yaem Clean. These structural concerns pose risks to the safety of commuters and the overall well-being of the community residing near the exercise area circle between Soi Hua Hin 102 and Soi Hua Hin 94. This location has unfortunately witnessed frequent accidents. In response to the community’s distress, requests were made for the municipality to facilitate one-way traffic and improve road lighting in the area. The residents have formally communicated these requests to the Hua Hin Municipality, aligning with the stipulated procedures and regulations.
