Chiang Mai, August 13, 2023 – Amidst the fervent cheers and electrifying atmosphere at the Chiang Mai 700 Year Stadium in the Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province, a triumphant moment unfolded as Mr. Palakorn Suwanrath, esteemed Privy Councilor, took center stage to preside over the crowning ceremony of the victors in the ONE 31 Sea V League 2023 women’s volleyball championship.

In a resounding display of sportsmanship and determination, the championship finale pitted the formidable Thai national team against their equally skilled Vietnamese counterparts. The climactic showdown culminated in a stunning 3-0 triumph (25-15, 25-23, 25-22) for the Thai national team, a feat that secured their prestigious position as the champions of the ONE 31 Sea V League 2023 Women’s Volleyball Tournament. The Vietnamese national team valiantly secured the runner-up spot, while the third place honor was clinched by the Indonesian national team. The Philippine national team, after a spirited match against the Thai national team, claimed the fourth place, further igniting the excitement within the stadium.

Mr. Worawit Chaisawat, Deputy Governor of Chiang Mai Province, Mr. Pichai Lertpong Adisorn, President of the Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization, and Mr. Somporn Chaibangyang, President of the Volleyball Association of Thailand, alongside representatives from various government agencies and the enthusiastic public, collectively infused the occasion with energy and enthusiasm.
