Prachuap Province Grants 5 Hotel Licenses to Boost Economy and Tourism

On July 21, 2023, Acting Major Adisak Noisuwan, Deputy Governor acting on behalf of the Governor of Prachuap Province, led a delegation of officials, including Mr. Pol Krit Phuangvalaisin, Hua Hin District Chief, to visit and extend encouragement to hotel establishments in the Hua Hin District area. The visit also marked the granting of five eagerly awaited hotel licenses, signifying a major boost for the local tourism and hospitality industry.

The newly awarded hotel licenses include:

  1. Triple C Hotel
  2. Hua Hin Golf Villa Hotel
  3. Sailom Hotel
  4. Hotel Marrakesh Hua Hin Resort & Spa
  5. Hotel Elegancy Resort Hua Hin

Acting Major Adisak Noisuwan expressed the administration’s commitment to adhere to clear regulations while also facilitating entrepreneurs in exploring new opportunities. The collaboration between Hua Hin District, Hua Hin Municipality, and Prachuap Province has created an environment that nurtures entrepreneurs and supports the local economy. The licensing process has been streamlined to enable the smooth operation of hotels, showcasing the government’s dedication to stimulating economic growth, creating employment opportunities, and driving the province’s overall economic prosperity.

For hotels that have yet to receive operating licenses, the government has set up a dedicated team, including the Provincial Public Works and Town Planning Office and the provincial governing body, to address individual cases and overcome any obstacles faced by operators. The personalized approach aims to provide tailored solutions to drive progress and resolve issues faced by hotel operators, further promoting a conducive business environment.

Ms. Pakket Mongkhonkiatporn, the owner of Triple C Hotel, expressed her elation at receiving the long-awaited license after a year of dedicated application efforts. The issuance of the license not only ensures compliance with legal regulations but also reassures customers of the hotel’s commitment to maintaining high standards and quality service. Overcoming the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the hotel is now prepared to bounce back and thrive in the post-pandemic era, providing guests with exceptional experiences once again.
