Joining the Tree Planting Event: On May 31, 2023, the Mayor of Hua Hin City assigned Deputy Mayor Miss Phailin Kongpant to participate in a tree planting activity. This event was organized to commemorate the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana’s birthday on June 3rd. Among the participants were Ms. Nonglak Padosot, a member of the Municipal Council, Ms. Oranun Saensomboon, the Director of Social Welfare Division, Mr. Teerapan Chudpun, the Director of Public Health and Environment Division, and Mr. Poomarin Sukprasert, the Head of Environmental Quality Control Unit, both from the Public Health and Environment Department. Other relevant personnel and keynote speaker Ms. Thayakorn Chayananrong, Chairperson of the Learning Center, along with members, warmly welcomed everyone to the event held at the Economic Empowerment Learning Center, Itti Temple, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province.
The purpose of this activity was to educate the public and interested individuals on the utilization of recyclable materials, such as plastic bottles being transformed into mattresses and other products. Alongside this educational effort, the participants collaborated in planting a total of 150 trees, divided into three zones: the auspicious tree zone, the air purifying tree zone, and the dust and pollutant-trapping tree zone. This initiative aimed not only to celebrate the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana on June 3, 2023, but also to expand green spaces and promote cleaner air in the area.
