Prachuap Khiri Khan Governor Awards Lucky Winners of Red Cross Charity Lottery at Tourism Event

Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Thailand – On April 11, 2023, Mr. Sathien Charoenrean, Governor of Prachuap Province, presided over the award ceremony for the lucky winners of the Red Cross lottery prize draw held at the “Tourism in Prachuap Khiri Khan The Miracle of Three Bays and the Red Cross Fair 2023” event. The ceremony was held in front of Prachuap Khiri Khan City Hall and was witnessed by members of the Prachuap Provincial Red Cross, government agencies, the private sector, and the media.

Three prizes were awarded, including the grand prize of a HONDA HR-V e-HEV model E given to Ms. Pichaya Kurdsirikul, the winner of the Charity Red Cross Lottery No. 56252. The second prize, a HONDA City model S, was awarded to Pol. Lt. Col. Chakrapat Janthiang, deputy superintendent of Hua Hin Police Station, the winner of Red Cross charity lottery number 43967. Finally, the third prize, a MITSUBISHI Attrage car, was awarded to Mr. Siraphop Homman, winner of the Charity Red Cross Lottery No. 11575.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Sathien emphasized the importance of raising funds to help the underprivileged and victims of natural disasters. He highlighted the efforts of the Prachuap Provincial Red Cross Society, which sells charity Red Cross lottery tickets to provide an annual budget for this purpose. This year, 50,000 copies of the lottery tickets were sold at 100 baht per copy during the Prachuap Khiri Khan Tourism Fair and the Red Cross Fair 2023.

Mr. Sathien also noted that those who support the Red Cross lottery are considered to be contributing to the cause of helping the provincial Red Cross. The winners of the lottery prizes were considered very fortunate and their winnings were seen as a reward for their good deeds and support of the Red Cross.

The award ceremony was a moment of celebration and gratitude for those who have supported the Red Cross and contributed to its mission of alleviating the suffering of those in need. It is a reminder of the power of collective action and the positive impact it can have on the community.
