On March 31, 2023, Ms. Nonglak Padungtos, a member of the Hua Hin City Council, led a team of municipal staff and 50 volunteers to develop the Khao Hin Lek Fai viewpoint area. The group was committed to collecting garbage, leaves, and weeds, and enhancing the landscape around the courtyard in front of the King Rama VII monument.
The initiative was part of the Prachuap Khiri Khan Province Governor’s campaign to drive cleanliness in the area. The campaign, which kicked off on the same day across the province, aimed to clean all eight Hidden Wow tourist attractions by the Hua Hin municipality.
The Khao Hin Lek Fai viewpoint area is a prime tourist destination in Hua Hin, attracting visitors to enjoy a panoramic 360-degree view of the city. The development of this area will enhance the overall tourism experience for travelers.
Ms. Nonglak Padungtos expressed her gratitude to the volunteers who dedicated their time to this project. She also urged locals and tourists alike to contribute to keeping the city clean and beautiful.
Overall, the efforts to develop the Khao Hin Lek Fai viewpoint area and drive cleanliness in the province show a commitment to sustainable tourism and environmental preservation. It is hoped that these initiatives will inspire others to take action and contribute to creating a cleaner and more beautiful community.
