Thai traditional boxing, known as Muay Thai, which is gaining popularity around the world, was featured at an event hosted by Naponphaporn Wutthikul, Mayor of Hua Hin City. The event was held at Ban Samao Phrong Municipal School’s temporary boxing ring, and contestants ranged from the grassroots to the international level. The tournament was held on an annual basis, with this year’s contest serving as the regional competition for the Central East and West Zones (Cluster 2-7), with nine bouts in weight classes ranging from flyweight to super flyweight, bantamweight to featherweight to light weight.
The winners of this round will advance to the next round, where they will represent the region at the national level.
