The Office of the Board of Investment (BOI) has issued a report on investment growth in the target industries during the preceding three years (2020–2022). During the previous three years, 2,687 projects totalling more than 600 billion Baht have been filed for investment by global corporations in the target industries, including next-generation automotive, smart electronics, digital, IT, and the creative industry.
The following information pertains to the investment applications for the aforementioned projects: 46 projects worth 78,115 million Baht are for electric cars, components, and charging stations; 420 projects are for the digital industry; 92 projects are for smart devices; 1,911 projects are for Industrial industries; and 218 initiatives are for the creative sector.
