Thailand’s hotel facilities have won this year’s Booking.com Traveler Review Awards, according to Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha.
According to government spokesperson Anucha Burapachaisri, the prime minister expressed his delight for businesses that earned the 2023 Traveler Review Awards, proving that they were acknowledged for their great hospitality services by tourists all around the world.
According to the spokesperson, the rankings were chosen based on reviews of housing or travel services, such as the services provided, location, and cleanliness of the lodgings. Thailand has an average lodging review score of 8.6. This distinction was given to 3,559 hotels, 2,192 resorts, and 1,614 flats and homestays. Thailand’s top five provinces with the most awarded rooms were Phang Nga, Krabi, Trat, Chiang Rai, and Chiang Mai.
Gen Prayut also thanked the hotel operators who earned awards, saying they reflected Thailand’s strong standards for lodging and tourist services, which continue to draw people from across the world. He also commended the operators for maintaining excellent service standards and encouraged them to continue improving management, facilities, and service standards.
In addition, the premier complimented the Thai people for their kind welcome to visitors visiting the nation.
