A new Czech film, Ostrov (The Island), premiered on February 1, 2023, in Prague. It features scenes shot on location in Phuket and Krabi, both in Thailand.

The film, produced by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), promotes Thailand’s “Visit Thailand Year 2023: Amazing New Chapters” campaign and the country’s emphasis on experiential tourism.
