Deputy Prime Minister Gen. Prawit Wongsuwon has conveyed his proposals to a number of regional governmental offices, emphasizing the need of addressing problems in their local context.
Gen. Prawit Wongsuwon, Deputy Prime Minister, presided over a meeting to pass over his work policies to regional public offices in Regions 1, 7, 13, and 16. The public service areas include 17 provinces in the higher north, lower northeast, central region, and southern region. He directed public officials to prioritize resolving serious issues affecting residents in their respective regions. Poverty, labor, and smoke pollution from forest fires are examples of such issues.
Gen. Prawit also advised the authorities to work hard to develop each region and improve the quality of life for the people who live there. Community water supplies and land for residents to live on were also mentioned as concerns of concern. Education, local wisdom, agriculture promotion, and professional development should all be undertaken while keeping local circumstances in mind. Public organizations were also requested to create digital databases that would aid in country administration. Officials were also instructed to monitor budget expenditures to ensure that the intended effect is achieved and that openness is maintained.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister’s Office’s Office of the Permanent Secretary has begun the yearly training session for ministerial-level inspectors. The training, delivered in partnership with the Office of the Civil Service Commission, aims to teach the information and abilities required for civil service inspection.
Thirapat Prayoonsithi, minister and counselor to the Prime Minister’s Office, stated on this occasion that inspection permits state policies to be drawn precisely and offer the most benefit to the public. The course will cover topics such as measures to promote quality of life, economic recovery, critically required projects, and programs related to the 20-year National Strategy.
