Dinner last night – The newbie on Sky’s Pasta’s product list, her lasagna

Sky makes her lasagna with a mix of beef and pork mince for added flavour, using her own fresh lasagna sheets and homemade bechamel sauce, with my personal favourite addition, nutmeg. Along with the trinity for any Italian dish – celery, carrot and onion, Sky adds fresh and tinned Italian tomatoes, onion and mozzarella cheese and that magic ingredient she puts into all her products – her love.

Weighing almost 500 grams, it is enough for two normal size portions or enough to feed the hungriest teenage boy.

I decided to serve it to my husband with a simple side-salad of lettuce, baby tomatoes, cucumber, capsicum, olives and finely sliced red onion with a balsamic dressing.  Quick easy and quite healthy, especially as Sky adds no preservatives or artificial flavourings to all her products. My husband insisted on a few shavings of his favourite Italian cheese on top.  Next time I might even be tempted to serve it with some garlic bread.  There’s a thought!
